Another Real Madrid star ruled out of friendly clash with fitness problem | OneFootball

La Liga giants Real Madrid will be forced to make do without another member of the club’s midfield ranks in their upcoming friendly meeting with WSG Tirol.

That’s according to Blancos insider Arancha Rodriguez, who points towards Federico Valverde as the player in question.

The subject of personnel problems has of course dominated the headlines in Spain’s capital once more over the last 24 hours.

This comes after word was forthcoming that Eduardo Camavinga has suffered a setback in his ongoing efforts to return to the pitch.

The Frenchman has picked up an ankle problem, which is expected to rule him out against both WSG Tirol, and Osasuna in Real Madrid’s La Liga season opener next week.

And as alluded to above, ahead of Los Blancos’ clash with the former on Wednesday, a 2nd member of Xabi Alonso’s engine room setup has now been ruled out, too.

As per a report from the aforementioned Arancha Rodriguez:

‘Valverde will not travel to Innsbruck due to an overload.’
