Manchester United made the trip down to London this evening to undergo their final preparations ahead of facing Arsenal tomorrow night.
Fans were thrilled to learn that summer signing Leny Yoro was included in the travelling squad for the first time after sustaining a lengthy injury setback during the pre-season tour. As a result, he’s been watching on from the sidelines for the opening four months of the campaign, waiting to make his official debut as a Red.
Whether he’ll be deployed from the offset against the Gunners remains to be seen. It’d certainly be one way for Ruben Amorim to throw the youngster in at the deep end in a fiery Premier League clash in front of a hostile Emirates crowd, though he may have no choice in the matter.
That’s because he’s set to be without both Lisandro Martinez and Luke Shaw for the fixture; the former is suspended after receiving a red card in the 4-0 win over Everton, while the latter has not been spotted with his teammates making their way to the capital, prompting speculation he’s sustained yet another injury setback.

Rumours on X/Twitter have only backed up the sentiment, with several accounts confidently claiming Shaw will be ruled out of the match.
It comes as a substantial blow to Amorim, who’d done well to manage the Englishman’s minutes since taking the reins last month.
Shaw, whom former Red Alex Telles hailed as ‘the best in the Prem’ at left-back, has yet to start a game this season, instead making half-hour cameos off the bench in the last three outings. Should he be unavailable on Wednesday, serious questions will be asked over whether his injuries are becoming too detrimental to the squad, given that he simply cannot be relied on throughout the course of a season.
