Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has revealed that André Onana will be back in his starting line-up this week against Lyon.
The goalkeeper was involved in a war of words prior to the first leg between the sides but an error-laden performance resulted in a 2-2 draw which subsequently saw him left out of the squad for Sunday's 4-1 loss at Newcastle.
However, he will return between the posts at Old Trafford on Thursday night.
"Onana will start this week. I think as a coach and former player, I try to do things to help a player in this situation," Amorim said.
"We have to manage players mentally and then they have to return to competition. It was a good weekend for him not to play."
However, he had a less optimistic update on Joshua Zirkzee who will miss the rest of the campaign with the hamstring injury he sustained at St James' Park, although he does expect Amad Diallo to make a return to action in May.
"Unfortunately he's not going to play anymore this season," Amorim added. "Let's prepare him for next year."
