Rúben Amorim’s decision to leave Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho out of Manchester United’s squad for Sunday’s derby has sparked more speculation about Rashford’s future at the club.

Despite their absence, United pulled off a dramatic 2-1 victory over Manchester City at the Etihad. Josko Gvardiol gave City the lead with a well-timed header in the first half, but Bruno Fernandes equalized with an 88th-minute penalty. Just two minutes later, Amad Diallo sealed the win with a composed finish past Éderson.

Rashford’s omission has intensified rumors about his potential departure, with growing questions about his future at United.

TEAMtalk reported on Sunday that Manchester United are looking to sell Rashford in the January transfer window. The report also mentions Paris Saint-Germain’s interest in the England international, and with United now open to a sale, other clubs may also enter the race for his signature.

Meanwhile, Chris Wheeler of the Daily Mail suggests United could be willing to entertain offers of around £40 million for the forward.

According to talkSPORT’s Alex Crook, Saudi Pro League club Al Ittihad are monitoring Marcus Rashford’s situation after he was left out of Manchester United’s squad by Amorim.

Furthermore, TBR Football reports that clubs in Saudi Arabia continue to show interest in signing Rashford but the Manchester United forward has made it clear he does not want to move to the Middle East.

Laurie Whitwell of The Athletic reports that Paris Saint-Germain have no interest in Marcus Rashford. In addition, Melissa Reddy of Sky Sports adds that no clubs are currently targeting him, pointing to concerns about his form, off-pitch behavior, and high salary.

ESPN’s Mark Ogden suggests Rashford has two options: work on getting his career back on track at Manchester United or consider a move to Saudi Arabia.
