Ajax and Crystal Palace close to agreement for Borna Sosa: deal to be done in the ‘coming days’ | OneFootball

Ajax left-back Borna Sosa is close to completing a move to Crystal Palace. The 27-year-old Croatian reportedly had good talks with manager Oliver Glasner before the club submitted an offer to Ajax.

While the transfer fee is unknown, Ajax have managed to negotiate a resale percentage for the defender. VI note this move as one of many out of Amsterdam, labelling it ‘an exodus’.

Kristian Hlynsson (FC Twente) and Christian Rasmussen (Fortuna Düsseldorf) have already left, and Sivert Mannsverk looks to follow suit.

Sosa has so far made 25 official appearances for Ajax in all competitions since joining from VfB Stuttgart in 2023-24. Last season, he was on loan at Torino in Serie A, and sees his future elsewhere as he looks to cement his place in the Croatian national team for next year’s World Cup.
