AC Milan targeting a deal for Manchester City’s Kyle Walker | OneFootball

According to a report from L’Équipe, AC Milan are targeting a potential deal to sign Kyle Walker (34) from Manchester City during the January transfer window. The England international still has 18 months left on his current deal at the Etihad stadium but could be on the move this winter.

In a recent press conference, Cityzens boss Pep Guardiola admitted that the Premier League champions may not be able to keep hold of Walker during the winter transfer window. The 34-year-old approached the former Barcelona manager wishing to explore his career options and a move in January now looks plausible.

Milan are currently the most interested in Walker’s services but lots of work would need to be done in order for a transfer to be completed to the Serie A outfit. The Sheffield-born right-back is one of the Manchester club’s top earners and the French publication understands the Rossoneri would have to free up wages to fulfil the salary demands of the player.
