AC Milan are closely monitoring the situation of Paris Saint-Germain striker Goncalo Ramos as they ramp up their search for a new centre-forward, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
Following a lacklustre 2024-25 campaign, Milan are eager to reinforce their attacking department with a new striker and have identified Ramos as a potential target.
Dusan Vlahovic is the first choice given his previous stint under the current Milan manager, but the Rossoneri are keeping their options open.
Ramos joined PSG from Benfica in a deal worth up to €65 million in 2023. Despite his reputation as a prolific marksman in Portugal, the 24-year-old has struggled to cement himself as a regular starter.
However, Ramos still managed a respectable return of 19 goals and six assists in 46 appearances across all competitions last season.
If Milan prioritise a move for Ramos, they will be hoping to leverage their relationship with super agent Jorge Mendes after recently acquiring one of his clients in Pervis Estupinan.
After PSG’s deep run in the FIFA Club World Cup, where they were beaten by Chelsea in the final, Ramos is still on holiday but is expected to report early next month.
Ramos and PSG will aim to add to last season’s impressive treble when they face off against Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Super Cup on August 13.
