Abdulahi Shino loaned to Torslanda IK

Under contract with GIF Sundsvall until 2027, 19-year-old Somali forward Abdulahi Shino has been loaned out to Torslanda IK until the end of the season.

After making a name for himself with Sundsvall in recent months, Shino was already sent out on loan to Lucksta IF in June to gain valuable playing time. Now, he joins Torslanda, a club competing in Division 1 Södra (Sweden's third tier), with the aim of continuing his development.

"He has made great strides since January, and this new challenge will help him progress even further," emphasized Joel Cedergren, Sundsvall's sporting director. On the Torslanda side, coach Declan Edge welcomes the arrival of a player who is "open-minded, hard-working, and brings real attacking qualities." A strategic loan move designed to help Shino toughen up before a potential impactful return to Sundsvall.
