Aaron Ramsey linked with a move to Mexico | OneFootball

Wales skipper Aaron Ramsey has agreed to join Mexican club Pumas UNAM.

Rather than stepping into the Cardiff City manager’s role, as many had expected, the 34-year-old will now head to Mexico to continue his playing career.

Ramsey had been strongly tipped to take over as Cardiff’s full-time boss after a short spell in charge at the end of last season, but he’s opted to stay on the pitch for now.

A key figure in Wales’ run to the Euro 2016 semi-finals and with 86 caps to his name, Ramsey has made it clear he still wants to play – with the aim of leading Wales at next summer’s World Cup.

He rejoined his boyhood club Cardiff in 2023, but injuries have limited his time on the pitch, and he’s currently recovering from hamstring surgery.
