The loan move of Vitor Reis to Girona was confirmed yesterday by Manchester City. An announcement on mancity.com confirmed the move. Pep Guardiola revealed that Vitor Reis was sent out on loan to trim the size of his squad. Speaking on the decision to send Vitor Reis out on loan for next season,  Guardiola said: “You know my opinion, I don’t like too many players. One of the reasons, for instance, why Vitor went to Girona.”

“I love Vitor a lot. He has an incredible future. But I don’t want him to be at home every weekend.“
