Sevilla are expected to be busy in the final days of the winter transfer window, with two more signings likely to be made. However, they are also likely to part ways with Loic Bade, while talismanic attacker Dodi Lukebakio has also been linked with a move away.
Despite having an opening offer rejected in the last few days, Aston Villa are expected to complete the signing of Bade before the transfer window closes on the 3rd of February. A replacement has already been lined up by Los Nervionenses, who also want to bring in a new striker for the second half of the season.
Ruben Vargas is the one and only player to have been signed by Sevilla so far this month, as he arrived on a permanent deal from Augsburg. While he could be viewed as a possible replacement for Lukebakio, the chances of the Belgian winger leaving mid-season appear to be very unlikely.

According to Relevo, Sevilla have set an asking price of €40m for any club that wants to sign Lukebakio. The expected sale of Bade means that the Andalusians would not be needing cash in the immediate future, which is why they have set an increased fee.
Juventus are one of the clubs to have been linked with Lukebakio in recent months, although the player himself has no interest in joining the Serie A giants or anyone else for the time being, as reported by Diario AS. For the rest of the season at least, his only focus is on helping Sevilla move up the La Liga table.
It is excellent news for Sevilla that Lukebakio looks set to stay for the remainder of the 2024-25 season. He has been their standout player up until now, with his nine goals in La Liga making him their top goalscorer. If he can continue that form over the coming months, there is a chance for Garcia Pimienta’s side to be challenging for Europe.
