30 clubs have made contact over summer signing of Barcelona star | OneFootball

An insight into the extent of the interest in the signature of Barcelona star Vitor Roque ahead of the summer has been forthcoming online.

The info comes courtesy of Diario AS, and points towards clubs queueing up to take Roque away from Catalunya’s capital.

The subject of frontman Roque’s future has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines in Spain across the week to date.

As much comes after the Brazilian’s agent, Andre Cury, took firm aim at both Barcelona and head coach Xavi, over their treatment of his client.

Roque has badly struggled for game-time since his January arrival in La Liga, with Cury having stated outright that, should an uptick in minutes not be forthcoming, the frontman will be forced to seek out a transfer.

It was subsequently suggested in the media that Barcelona had little to be concerned about, with outside interest in taking Roque away from the Camp Nou on a permanent basis essentially non-existent.

Safe to say, however, that the latest word stemming from the press points towards the reality of the situation being altogether different.

As per the aforementioned AS, Barca’s young striker is fielding interest from all over Europe.

As many as 30 clubs are understood to have made initial contact with the Blaugrana brass, to gain a better understanding of the situation.

These include enquiries for both permanent and loan moves.

Amongst those to have reached out to Barcelona, it is added, are the likes of Tottenham, Chelsea, Manchester United and Napoli.
