Following on from their 1-0 defeat to Charlton Athletic and missing out on promotion to the Championship, the O's will look to regroup and bounce back next season.

Orient already have to deal with their five star loanees returning to their parent clubs, but there could be others heading for the exit door from Richie Wellens' squad.

Here, we take a look at three players that will likely move on from E10 in this upcoming transfer window.

Ethan Galbraith

This is one that most O's fans would have expected, no matter what division they found themselves in.

While Orient are under no obligation to sell Ethan Galbraith, he has shown he is far too good for League One football next season.

Galbraith, a Northern-Irish international, has been a highlight in the Orient team ever since arriving back in 2022. Being forced out of position to deputise at full-back didn't prevent the 24-year-old from scoring six times as well as getting seven assists in 42 League One games this season.

A player with the talents of Galbraith will likely have a pick of clubs to choose from, and it would be difficult to see Orient standing in his way of departing - especially with a likely seven-figure sum waiting for his acquisition should he want to leave.

Dan Agyei

Dan Agyei is another player that has excelled under manager Richie Wellens since joining from Crewe in 2023.

A talented forward that has found success in East London both out wide and up front, Agyei's contract expires in the summer and will likely have suitors from higher divisions following his performances in recent years.

While clubs will undoubtedly have doubts over Agyei's injury history, the likelihood is that a few second-tier sides will take a risk on the 27-year-old - and with Orient starting fresh this summer, it looks like the right opportunity for Agyei to display his quality at a higher level.

Randell Williams

Some fans won't be bothered about a potential departure for winger Randell Williams, while others will be hoping to see the 28-year-old in red next year.

Williams only joined the O's in January on a six-month deal from fellow League One side Bolton Wanderers - with Richie Wellens stating at the time of his arrival: "He is still an ambitious player and wants to play in the Championship again." Making it clear that he doesn't see himself spending much time in the third tier.

There is a real possibility that Williams doesn't even receive a contract offer from Orient, with him not being introduced until the 82nd minute during the play-off final.

Williams has clearly shown talent during his time at E10, but with only three goal involvements in 17 games for the O's this season, he likely wouldn't be seen as too much of a loss and could be allowed to move on at the end of June.
