According to BILD journalist Christian Falk, Zinedine Zidane is one of four names left on Bayern Munich’s list of candidates to become their next manager. The Bavarian club are searching for a new manager after it was confirmed that former PSG manager Thoms Tuchel would definitely leave the club at the end of the season.

Zinedine Zidane is one of the preferred candidates to become the next manager at the Allianz Arena, according to Florian Plettenberg. The Bundesliga club’s interest in the former Real Madrid manager is not a secret but it remains to be seen whether Zidane would accept the role. The former France international does not speak German and prefers to manage one of his former clubs in his next job.

One of four candidates

Zidane is one of four managers left on Bayern’s list of candidates after several rejections from other targets, Falk reports. Jose Mourinho, Hansi Flick and Benfica manager Roger Schmidt are also being considered for the soon-to-be vacant post at the Allianz Arena.
