Juventus are in the process of negotiating a new contract with Kenan Yildiz, whose representatives are keen to include a release clause following Arsenal’s offer.
The 18-year-old Turkish forward broke into the Bianconeri’s first team earlier this season, making his topflight debut in the win over Udinese in August. He’s netted three goals across 19 games this term, quickly proving himself an exciting talent in Turin.
Whilst Yildiz hasn’t scored in Serie A since December, Massimiliano Allegri and Juventus have not lost any faith in the Turkish teenager and believe he’ll be a key figure for the future. He signed a new deal back in August, but the Old Lady are already keen to lock him down to a better contract.
As detailed by Tuttosport via TMW, Juventus are not in a rush to agree a new contract with Yildiz but are in close contact with his entourage, who are pushing for the inclusion of a release clause following a recent €40m proposal from Arsenal.
The next few weeks could be key as the two parties continue negotiations, with the goal being to set up a new deal ahead of the summer transfer window.
