The Argentina national team held their first training session on Monday ahead of Thursday's clash with Venezuela in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Under the guidance of Lionel Scaloni, several key players were already in attendance. Lionel Messi, Rodrigo De Paul, and Leandro Paredes watched the session from the sidelines, while the rest of the squad trained behind closed doors.
However, two players were absent: Nicolás Otamendi and Juan Foyth, who arrived after the session. Argentina will take on Venezuela this Thursday before wrapping up this international window with a match against Ecuador on September 9.
