Wolves and Southampton consider move for Kevin Danso | OneFootball

RC Lens are preparing for departures in January. Abdukodir Khusanov (20) is garnering plenty of interest from the Premier League with Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Leicester City all interested in the Uzbekistan international, according to L’Équipe.

The publication reports that his centre-back partner at RC Lens, Kevin Danso (26) could also leave and like his teammate, he could also be set for a move to the Premier League.

The Austria international almost left Lens in the summer but failed his medical ahead of a move to AS Roma. A heart issue was detected by the Serie A side. Tests undergone since have shown no signs of an issue and Danso has since resumed his playing career.

However, he could leave in January with Les Sang et Or needing to raise funds. Southampton, who had Danso on loan during the 2019/20 season, could be a destination, whilst fellow Premier League strugglers Wolverhampton Wanderers are also interested, according to L’Équipe, as are La Liga side Villarreal.
