Another day of international fixtures involving Inter players is over. Eight Nerazzurri players took to the pitch for their respective national teams on Monday, and three found the net in the UEFA Nations League.

Italy recorded an excellent 4-1 victory over Israel in Udine, with the Inter contingent making a big contribution. After goals from Retegui and Di Lorenzo and Israel's response through Abu Fani, Italy made it 3-1 thanks to Davide Frattesi. The Nerazzurri midfielder once again scored from a Federico Dimarco assist, which is exactly what happened in the reverse fixture between the sides. The wing-back was substituted in the 73rd minute, while Frattesi was replaced by Buongiorno ten minutes later. Alessandro Bastoni, meanwhile, played for the entire match, which was well and truly put to bed by another Di Lorenzo goal.

Thanks to this win, Italy remain top of League A Group 2 of the Nations League with ten points. Behind the Azzurri are France, who have nine points following their 2-1 victory over Belgium thanks to a Kolo Muani brace. Marcus Thuram, who entered the fray in the 93rd minute, was only involved for a few moments.

Iceland and Turkey were involved in a thrilling encounter in Reykjavík. The Turks managed to come away with an important 4-2 victory after falling behind early on. Hakan Calhanoglu, who started and finished the game, temporarily made it 2-1 with a penalty after previously having another goal from a spot-kick chalked off for a double touch. Iceland grabbed an equaliser in the 83rd minute, but Guler and Akturkoglu both bagged late on to secure three points for Turkey, who lead League B Group 4 with ten points, two more than second-place Wales.

The latest international window has ended positively for Kristjan Asllani’s Albania, who beat Georgia away from home thanks to a goal from the Inter midfielder. It finished 1-0 in Tbilisi, where Asllani played the entire match and found the net with a fine right-footed finish from the edge of the area in the 48th minute.

Thanks to this important win, Albania now have six points in League B Group 1 of the Nations League. They currently sit level with Georgia and Czechia, who face Ukraine on Monday evening.

It was a disappointing evening for Denzel Dumfries and Stefan De Vrij: the Netherlands were beaten 1-0 by Germany in Munich. The match was decided by Leweling's goal in the 63rd minute. Dumfries and De Vrij, who were selected in Ronald Koeman's starting line-up, featured for the full 90 minutes. In League A Group 3 of the Nations League, the Dutch currently occupy second place with five points, five fewer than Germany.
