Erik ten Hag will set his men up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to keep changes to a minimum for this game. Hence, Rasmus Hojlund will once again lead the line for the Mancunian giants in the final third.

Defence

Andre Onana will play in between the sticks for Man United after conceding two goals in his last league outing. Willy Kambwala will resume his defensive partnership alongside Harry Maguire at the heart of Man United’s defence as they look to keep the Coventry attackers quiet during the game.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka will hope to impress as the left-back while Diogo Dalot tries to catch the eye on the other side as the left-back. Ten Hag will ask both of them to be more adventurous than usual so that they can offer some decent service to the front players.

Sofyan Amrabat will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Kobbie Mainoo and Casemiro will operate as the holding midfielders as they look to win the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park. The gifted trio of Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and Alejandro Garnacho will play just ahead of them as part of Man United’s attack. All three of them need to combine well in the opponent’s half if they are to create enough chances to secure a convincing win at Wembley Stadium this weekend.

Christian Eriksen will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if ten Hag opts to call upon his services.

Attack

Rasmus Hojlund will spearhead Man United’s attack on the offensive end of the field. He has to figure out a way to be a constant menace inside the Coventry penalty box this weekend.
