Wilfried Zaha has completed his free transfer to Galatasaray, signing a three-year deal with the Turkish giants.
The 30-year-old had been a free agent since his contract expired at Crystal Palace at the end of June.
Palace had looked to keep their star man, offering him a four-year contract on reported weekly wages of £200,000 but Zaha has opted instead for Gala.
He also turned down alleged approaches from Lazio, Al Nassr and his new club’s cross-city rivals Fenerbahce.
Zaha leaves Palace for a second time, having first departed in 2013 to join Manchester United.
After an unsuccessful spell at Old Trafford was followed by a loan stint at Cardiff, he returned to Selhurst Park in the summer of 2014.
Over his two spells at the club, the Ivory Coast international made 458 appearances and scored 90 goals, 68 of which came in the Premier League, making him Palace’s leading scorer in the competition by a considerable distance.
Zaha is Gala’s second free agent signing in the last week, having also completed a deal for former Olympiacos striker Cédric Bakambu.
