East Africa (Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania) will host the 8th edition of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) from August 2 to 30.
Five stadiums have been selected as venues for the tournament, namely:
- Moi International Sports Centre: Located in the Kasarani area of the Kenyan capital Nairobi, this stadium boasts a capacity of 60,000 seats. After several rounds of renovation, it now meets the standards required by CAF.
- Nyayo National Stadium: Also located in Nairobi, Kenya, it can accommodate 30,000 fans. It previously hosted the 2010 African Athletics Championships and the 2017 IAAF World U18 Championships.
- Mandela National Stadium: Situated in Bweyogerere, a suburb of the Ugandan capital Kampala, this venue has a capacity of 45,202.
- Benjamin Mkapa Stadium: Located in the Tanzanian capital Dar es Salaam, it can welcome up to 60,000 supporters.
- Amaan Stadium: Situated in Zanzibar, it has an estimated capacity of 15,000 fans.
