An insight into the plans of the coaching staff at La Liga giants Real Madrid for the club’s return to pre-season training has on Saturday been forthcoming.

The info comes courtesy of journalist Alvaro Esteban, and confirms that the plan is for Xabi Alonso’s squad to reconvene in Spain’s capital on August 4th.

Real Madrid’s players are of course fresh off nothing short of an exhausting campaign.

Owing to their qualification for the newly-formatted Club World Cup, Los Blancos found themselves playing well into the summer months, all the way up until their elimination from the tournament last week.

The club’s playing staff, in turn, have since gone their separate ways for a well-earned summer break.

With the 2025/26 season just around the corner, though, this rest will be short-lived…

As per a report from the aforementioned Alvaro Esteban:

‘Real Madrid are scheduled to return to training on August 4. Before that, they will undergo their respective medical examinations.’
