The Swans could be about to welcome their latest big-name investor to South West Wales.
World-famous American rapper Snoop Doog could be set to feature in the next episode of high-profile figures investing in Swansea City.
Indeed, it was announced in mid-April that Ballon d'Or winner and footballing icon Luka Modrić had joined the Swans as an investor and co-owner.
Adding a world-renowned and highly decorated player to their boardroom marked a clear statement of intent regarding future progression and success at the Swansea.com Stadium, and that's been matched with an exciting summer of transfer business so far.
The club have signed a host of new players to bolster Alan Sheehan's squad ahead of the 2025/26 season, with Ethan Galbraith, Cameron Burgess and Zeidane Inoussa all being eye-catching additions.
Swansea could be about to make another one of those if the rumours swirling around the club are to be true, but it won't be another new player for Sheehan to work with.
The Championship side are also under American ownership, with the group being led by Brett Cravatt and Jason Cohen.
They've made it clear that under their stewardship, it's their intent to really boost the profile of the club worldwide.
When looking to complete a mission such as that, it certainly helps to have friends who've garnered fame across the globe through their instantly recognisable beats and iconic verses - as Snoop Doog has.
Cravatt and Cohen are said to have a 'mutual connection' to the 53-year-old multi-platinum-selling rap icon, and so when they called in for a favour upon the release of Swansea's 25/26 home shirt, Snoop obliged.
It wasn't the sort of feature he's used to, but Snoop - born Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. - was the star of a 16-second-long video released by the club on 12 July, and in true Snoop Dogg fashion, he effortlessly showed off the new shirt with his trademark swagger and coolness.
But, that's the end of undoubtedly one of the best home shirt reveal stories in recent football memory, right? Well, no. In fact, it may just be the start of Snoop's Swansea City tale.
"We appreciate the considerable interest and enthusiasm generated by Snoop Dogg's appearance in a Swansea City shirt," a club spokesperson said of Snoop's help with the kit release via BBC Sport.
"While we are not in a position to share specifics with you all just yet, we will be able to provide more details soon and we're excited about what's to come."
So, it appears that alongside the likes of Birmingham City and Wrexham, the EFL could be about to receive its latest injection of American involvement with Snoop Doog and Swansea City.
What Tom Wagner at Blues and Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney at the Red Dragons have brought with them from the States to their respective clubs - among many things - is a new lease of life and excitement among supporters that brighter days ahead are on the way.
Of course, they've also brought with them deep pockets and open wallets, which in modern football ownership, is moving ever closer to being a necessity to achieve the kind of success those two clubs are aiming for.
So then, should Snoop Dogg indeed join the ownership group at Swansea City, how much wealth would he be bringing to the table?
Well, according to Celebrity Net Worth, the California-born music star has a net worth of $160m, which equates to £119.4m.
