Milan are still aiming to provide Massimiliano Allegri with a new striker and reports suggest that the Rossoneri are pushing for a deal with Manchester United for Rasmus Hojlund, but what would happen to Juventus and Dusan Vlahovic if that were to happen?
In recent weeks, Hojlund and Vlahovic have been tipped as the leading candidates to join Allegri’s attacking department in San Siro. The Rossoneri need another striker to compete with Santiago Gimenez, who is currently the only senior centre-forward in the Milan squad.
Reports on Monday claim that sporting director Igli Tare has stayed in the UK after Milan’s 4-1 loss against Chelsea in a pre-season friendly on Sunday in order to push forwards with negotiations for Hojlund.

The Dane is an enticing option for the Rossoneri, as he currently earns around four times less than Vlahovic does on the final year of his Juventus contract.
If Milan are able to strike a deal with United for Hojlund, Juventus are left looking at a potential disaster.
As per reports from Calciomercato.com, Milan and Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce are the only sides to have shown any real interest in Vlahovic this summer, and if neither of those moves come off, then there is an increasingly likely scenario that Vlahovic stays on with Juventus until the end of the 2025-26 season.

At that point, Vlahovic would leave the club on a free transfer, which the Bianconeri have been hoping to avoid given that they invested a fee of €70m plus up to €10m in bonuses to sign the Serbian from Fiorentina in 2022.
