Earlier this week, reports broke that Lucas Paqueta had suffered an ankle injury in training with West Ham United, making him a doubt for their trip to the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
West Ham’s fears have now been confirmed, with the Daily Mail reporting that Paqueta will miss their next two games. The player reportedly rolled his ankle in a collision with Aaron Wan-Bissaka on Tuesday.

“It was a training incident really, just an innocuous one, he went over on his ankle and there was a little bit of a collision with Aaron Wan Bissaka,” West Ham boss Graham Potter confirmed.
“He’ll be missing for the game, probably Leicester as well, so we’ll see how he is, but he’s swollen up a bit. I’ll take it day by day, but I would imagine a week or two he’ll be away.”
West Ham already had a few injury concerns in attacking areas, with Michail Antonio, Crysencio Summerville, and Niclas Fullkrug also ruled out of the Arsenal game. Defensively, West Ham are expected to be without Vladimir Coufal.

West Ham are unlikely to get much sympathy from Arsenal, considering the Gunners have a very similar list of injuries.
Like West Ham, Arsenal have two wingers injured (Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli), two strikers injured (Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus), and one right-back injured (Takehiro Tomiyasu).
Both teams will have to adapt to their attacking crises and find a way to earn the three points.
