Timothy Weah has left the Juventus pre-season training camp in January in order to complete his transfer to Olympique de Marseille, reports on Tuesday confirm.
The USMNT wideman is leaving Juventus after two seasons, which have brought five Serie A goals from 60 league appearances, in order to return to Ligue 1, where he has spent the majority of his senior career to date.
According to recent reports, The Old Lady are set to recoup around €19m from Weah’s move to Marseille, made up of an initial €2m loan fee, an option to buy for €14m, plus bonuses of up to €4m.

The sale of the 44-time USA international is still expected to bring a minor profit for the Bianconeri, who paid a fee of €10.3m, €2.1m in add-ons and €1m in commission to sign the now-25-year-old from Lille in the summer of 2023.
As per Corriere dello Sport, Weah left Igor Tudor’s pre-season training camp in the early hours of Tuesday morning in order to fly to France and complete the final formalities of his Marseille transfer.

It is understood that Weah would not have been part of Tudor’s plans for the 2025-26 season had he stayed.
Juve, meanwhile, are working on a number of other departures, including possible sales of Douglas Luiz and Dusan Vlahovic, plus a potential move to Napoli for returning loanee Fabio Miretti.
