Gianluigi Donnarumma’s time at PSG could be coming to an end after the club signed Lucas Chevalier. The 26-year-old goalkeeper wants a long-term transfer, and Manchester United, Manchester City, and Chelsea are competing for him.
Earlier reports from L’Equipe suggested Donnarumma has agreed on terms with Manchester City and has already held talks with Pep Guardiola. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano added that Galatasaray has expressed interest in Ederson, potentially clearing the path for Donnarumma’s move to City.
At the same time, RMC Sport reported that Chelsea and Manchester United have made preliminary inquiries, though nothing has progressed beyond the initial discussions.

Wayne Rooney says Man Utd would be “crazy” not to chase Donnarumma after Altay Bayındır’s latest goalkeeping mistake.
“I think it has to be a thing,” he said on his BBC Podcast. “I go back to when we had Roy Carroll and Tim Howard in goal. I don’t think there was 100 per cent trust from the defenders in front of them two goalkeepers, but the minute [Edwin] van der Sar comes in and calms everything down, the defenders trusted him a lot more.
“Andre Onana came in and he’s a fantastic keeper, but he certainly didn’t fill anyone with confidence last season. I think Donnarumma, he’s 26, he’s one of the best keepers in the world. It’d be crazy if Man United don’t go for him.”
Sky Sports reported that PSG value Donnarumma between £34.5 million and £43.1 million, with the Italian having one year left on his contract. The broadcaster also reported that neither Manchester City, Manchester United, nor Donnarumma’s representatives have made any contact.
Meanwhile, Sky Sport Germany recently reported that Manchester City are quietly working to sign Donnarumma, with personal terms nearly agreed. Pep Guardiola is reportedly pushing to complete the deal, and City are confident it will go through once Ederson finalizes his move to Galatasaray.
