FC Barcelona had to rely on a late penalty to secure a narrow 4-3 win over Celta Vigo on Saturday.
As the scoreline suggests, it was an entertaining game for the viewers, with Barcelona having to showcase their all attacking might in order to outscore Borja Iglesias’ brilliant hat-trick.
During this process, Hansi Flick had to make a lot of changes, including the substitution of the injured Robert Lewandowski, who may face up to three weeks on the sidelines.
There were some tactical changes made as well, especially when Flick called up Pau Victor in the last embers of the game, in place of Gerard Martin. It was clearly an attacking move as Flick attempted to come at Celta’s defence with full force.
It was during Pau Victor’s substitution in the 88th minute that Ansu Fati showed utter frustration, which was captured on live cameras.
Soon after Flick wasted all of his substitutions, Fati was seen kicking a cooler on the sidelines, as he was angry and frustrated with the German ignoring him on the bench, yet again.
This has been a common theme for Barcelona this season, with Flick often ignoring the Spaniard despite all his work in training.
Fati was closely linked with a move away from Barcelona in January. But despite having offers, the forward refused to move and wanted to prove himself under Flick.
But Fati has since been ignored by the German tactician, who has preferred to play other alternatives in the attack, including Pau Victor.
Due to this, Fati and his agents are frustrated and angry at Flick. Not to mention, the player has decided to leave Barcelona as well, once the season ends.
