Real Madrid starlet Arda Güler was responsible for a piece of individual brilliance during training on Friday.

Carlo Ancelotti’s troops were today put through their paces for the final time, ahead of Real’s return to domestic action on Saturday night.

No doubt brimming with confidence fresh off a trio of successive victories across all competitions, Los Blancos are primed to play host to Espanyol, in a La Liga clash.

With the fixtures now coming thick and fast for the reigning Spanish champions, all at Valdebebas this morning were no doubt eager to impress, to assure the best possible shot at securing a place in boss Ancelotti’s XI to face Espanyol.

And, as alluded to above, one player who, at one point at least, managed precisely that, was midfielder Arda Güler.

Showcasing all of touch, quick feet, vision, creativity and pinpoint passing, the Turkish international conjured up a moment of magic, which culminated in a clear chance in front of goal.

It now remains to be seen whether such excellence proved enough to convince the Real Madrid coaching staff of Güler’s deservingness of a starting berth on Saturday…
