People knew well before his title-winning goal against Köln in May that Jamal Musiala has a golden future ahead of him. Now the 20-year-old Bayern forward is up for a huge personal award after being named on the shortlist for the Golden Boy, which is given to the best U21 player in Europe.

How to vote for Musiala

The list published by Italian sports newspaper Tuttosport currently still consists of 100 players. That number will be reduced each month until October. Forty journalists from football publications across Europe will cast their votes, while fans can also have their say and vote for Musiala HERE.

Third place in 2021

This year’s award consists of players who were born in 2003 or later. The last two winners have come from Barcelona, with Pedri claiming the crown in 2021 and then Gavi in 2022. According to Tuttosport’s index, Musiala, who finished third in 2021, is currently the leading contender ahead of Jude Bellingham, who recently left Borussia Dortmund for Real Madrid, and title holder Gavi.
