Vítor Pereira claims Premier League Manager of the Month for April | OneFootball

After guiding Wolverhampton to five consecutive victories in April, Vítor Pereira has been named the Premier League Manager of the Month, marking the first time he has received the award in his career.

The Portuguese manager earned the prize after an outstanding month that saw Wolves claim maximum points in all five of their matches.

Pereira’s side beat West Ham, Ipswich, Tottenham, Manchester United, and Leicester City, securing 15 vital points that ensured the club’s safety in the top flight.

With this achievement, Pereira becomes the fifth Portuguese coach to receive the honour, joining an elite group that includes Nuno Espírito Santo (seven-time winner), José Mourinho (four), André Villas-Boas (two), and Bruno Lage (one).

It’s also a remarkable turnaround for Wolves, who now sit 13th in the table - a far cry from the relegation zone where they found themselves when Pereira took charge.
