After the 2-0 win over Alcione in the first game, Fabio Gallo's side suffered a narrow (1-0) defeat away to Giana Erminio. It should be noted that they also registered a positive pre-season result against Carrarese (0-0) for the side who have lost midfielder Petermann (4 goals in 37 games, now at Latina) but added defender Marconi, an ex-Palermo player who has already scored his debut goal in the Coppa Italia. During the week, the Biancocelesti were preparing for the clash with the Rossoneri with a training session alongside Serie D side, Ligorna.

"We have prepared well to face a side that little is known about, but is full of talent", said Coach Gallo on the eve of the game. "We know some individual Milan Futuro players, but we have only seen 180 minutes and there will be the need to adapt in light of what those two games have shown. I think it will be an open game: second sides, in my experience, are never reluctant to play. We are aware that Milan Futuro has a strong appeal, but we have to act in a way that ensures an even bigger one for Entella".
