Reflecting on Real Madrid’s 3-0 victory against Pachuca, Vazquez provided insights into the team’s performance. The match marked Real Madrid’s fourth triumph in this prestigious competition.

However, the game did not start as smoothly as the final scoreline suggests. According to Vazquez, the opening 15 to 20 minutes were challenging, with the team struggling to find their rhythm.

“In the first 15 or 20 minutes we struggled a bit, it wasn’t a proper ball rhythm, playing a bit slow.”

Once Real Madrid managed to break the deadlock with the first goal, the team began to play with greater confidence and fluidity.

The 1-0 lead shifted the momentum in their favour, allowing them to dominate proceedings and ultimately secure a well-earned victory.

“From then on, the team started to play better and with the 1-0 the game went our way, the result is more than deserved,” he said.
