Real Madrid’s stars have flooded to social media on Tuesday afternoon, to respond to the news of teammate Toni Kroos’ decision to retire.

Midfield icon Kroos made official his decision to call time on his legendary career a short time ago.

The 34-year-old will see out the final two games of Real Madrid’s campaign, before bringing the curtain down on his playing days following the conclusion of Germany’s Euro 2024 adventure.

The news, understandably, has since rocked Real Madrid to its very core.

This of course comes with the widespread expectation having been that Kroos was in line to put pen to paper on a one-year contract extension imminently.

With the former Bayern Munich man’s call now official, though, tributes have already begun to pour in from across the world of football.

And front and centre in as much have been none other than Kroos’ teammates in Spain’s capital.

Taking to the comments section of the midfield maestro’s latest Instagram post, the likes of Jude Bellingham, Vinícius Jr. and Rodrygo all provided their immediate reactions to the news.
