There was a time when it would have been impossible to imagine a better Brazilian at Real Madrid than Ronaldo.
O Fenômeno was outrageously good at the Bernabéu, scoring 104 goals in 177 games for the Spanish giants, and redefining the striker role.
But perhaps Vini Jr is coming for Ronaldo's status as Real Madrid's greatest ever Brazilian.
Vini had mixed fortunes in Saturday's LaLiga clash with Valencia, as he missed a penalty which would have given Los Blancos an equaliser in the first half.
But the 24-year-old did find an equaliser in the second half, and it was his 104th goal for the club - matching the tally reached by fellow countryman Ronaldo between 2002 and 2007.
Vini reaches that total in his 307th game for the club, meaning it took him almost twice as long as Ronaldo.
But with plenty of years still ahead of him, the young winger will surely break the legend's record and raise the bar for Brazilians at the Bernebéu.
