Vazquez Gets 8, Kroos With 7.5 | Real Madrid Players Rated In Last-Gasp Win Vs Alaves

Real Madrid faced off against Alaves at the Mendizorrotza earlier tonight as they hoped to secure all three points on the road in La Liga. Los Blancos made a solid start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.
Nacho was sent off by the referee in the 54th minute which put the Madrid outfit at a numerical disadvantage. However, Carlo Ancelotti’s men stood strong and managed to score an injury-time winner thanks to Lucas Vazquez’s effort. The contest finished with Real Madrid securing a last-gasp 1-0 win away from home.

GK: Kepa Arrizabalaga – 7/10
The Spanish keeper made a couple of solid saves at the back and earned an important clean sheet on the road.
RB: Lucas Vazquez – 8/10
He kept things solid when defending inside his half and ended up scoring the winning goal for Real Madrid in injury-time.
CB: Antonio Rudiger – 7/10
The German talent cleared the danger when he could and did enough to earn the shutout.
CB: Nacho – 5.5/10
He didn’t do much wrong at the back for most of the game but let his teammates down by getting sent off in the 54th minute.

LB: Fran Garcia – 6.5/10
He didn’t do much wrong at the back and made one decent run with the ball.
CM: Federico Valverde – 7/10
Valverde was a positive influence in both halves but has got nothing to show for his efforts.
CM: Toni Kroos – 7.5/10
Kroos engineered some key chances for his teammates and picked up an assist for setting up Vazquez’s match-winner.
CM: Luka Modric – 6/10
He never got a foothold in the game and was substituted early in the second half.
CAM: Jude Bellingham – 7/10
The English talent made two good runs with the ball but struggled to register a goal.
ST: Brahim Diaz – 7/10
The Spaniard completed some promising dribbles in the opponent’s half but failed to make a difference up top.
ST: Rodrygo – 6.5/10
Rodrygo caused some headaches but has got nothing to show for his efforts.
