USWNT boss Emma Hayes has confirmed that forward Catarina Macario will miss the forthcoming Olympics in Paris.
The 24-year-old spent last season with Hayes at Chelsea, after a move from Lyon in 2023.

Macario is suffering from 'consistent irritation' in her right knee, which will keep her out of the side.
It's been reported that Macario will be replaced by Lynn Williams in the squad, who plays her club football for Gotham FC.
Emily Sams will now take Williams' place on the reserve list.
