The 2025 UEFA European Championships have reached fever pitch.
Following four enthralling quarter-final ties, the business end of the competition has come into full focus with the last-four fixtures to be played this week.
A total of seven City players across three national teams have reached the semi-finals of the prestigious tournament and each will be harbouring ambitions of advancing into the showpiece at the end of July.
Before then though, full focus will be on the task at hand – and here’s how to watch our Blues representatives in the United Kingdom in last-four ties.
The Lionesses secured passage into the semi-finals for a third successive European Championship with a dramatic win over Sweden on penalties.
Having been 2-0 down at half-time, quickfire goals from Lucy Bronze and Michelle Agyemang forced the game to extra-time where the sides couldn’t be separated.
England then prevailed 3-2 from 12-yards in a rollercoaster shootout after a total of 14 attempts.
Italy’s quarter-final meeting with Norway was also an eventful affair with Cristina Girelli’s opener being cancelled out by Ada Hegerberg.
However, the Juventus forward restored her nation’s lead on 90 minutes to send them into the semi-finals.
And England’s meeting with Italy will be broadcast on ITV1 and ITVX on Tuesday 22 July, with kick-off scheduled for 20:00 (UK).
City defender Leila Ouahabi was a second-half substitute in Spain’s 2-0 win over Switzerland which saw Iman Beney and Co. valiantly exit the competition.
In an evenly contested clash, the reigning world champions opened the scoring in the 66th minute via Athenea del Castillo before Claudia Pina sealed a 2-0 win.
Germany, meanwhile, delivered a heroic performance to reach the last-four – beating France on penalties despite playing with 10 for over 107 minutes.
Christian Wuck’s side started brightly but saw Kathrin Hendrich sent off before falling behind to Grace Geyoro’s penalty in the opening quarter of an hour.
But Sjoeke Nusken headed home before half-time and Germany delivered a battling display with a numerical disadvantage to take the game to extra-time and penalties.
City’s Rebecca Knaak led from the back with a brave display and she dispatched her penalty as Germany won 6-5.
Spain’s heavyweight bout with Wuck’s side will be played on Wednesday 23 July at 20:00 (UK) and will be broadcast on BBC One, BBC iPlayer and BBC Sport Web.
