Milan and Como took the spotlight in the final hours of the January transfer market as the most active teams in Serie A, but their multiple signings also placed them among the clubs that spent the most in the world during the winter window.
The Rossoneri remained dormant for most of the month, announcing Kyle Walker as their first January signing on 24 January.

However, the Englishman would prove to be just the first of many purchases, as the club worked intensively in the last stretch of the transfer window to revolutionise their squad, with illustrious names such as former captain Davide Calabria and Alvaro Morata leaving the club and making room for Santiago Gimenez and Joao Felix, among others.
Como’s activity was spread out throughout the whole month, as the signings of goalkeeper Jean Butez and Assane Diao came in early January, before Dele Alli, Maxence Caqueret and Jonathan Ikoné also officially joined the Lariani in the final days alongside a host of other players.
Milan and Como ranked ninth and tenth, respectively, among the 10 teams that spent the most in the January transfer market.
