Targets: Viktor Gyokeres, Alexander Isak and Eberechi Eze

Arsenal are aiming to confirm three huge deals this week as the summer window steps up another gear. Talks over a £63million move for Viktor Gyokeres are nearing a conclusion as Sporting hold out for 'realistic' add-ons. Noni Madueke has undergone a medical before joining for £52m and Cristhian Mosquera has arrived to finalise his move. A bid for Eberechi Eze is now expected.

Liverpool have already spent upwards of £220m this summer and are willing to spend another £120m on Alexander Isak after lodging their interest with Newcastle, while telling the Magpies that they will take No1 striker target Hugo Ekitike out of their grasp if they fail to land the Sweden star. Real Madrid’s Rodrygo is also of interest to Liverpool and Arsenal.

Manchester United are struggling to cough up a fee for Bryan Mbeumo, amid links with Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson as the Blues ponder a move for Alejandro Garnacho, while Tottenham remain hopeful of signing Morgan Gibbs-White despite Nottingham Forest considering legal action. Chelsea still interested in Garnacho

Amid talk of an exit for Marcus Rashford, another player Manchester United are looking to move on is Alejandro Garnacho.

He has been told that he is not part of Ruben Amorim’s plans and needs to find a new club this summer.

Chelsea were linked with the winger in January and TBR Football claim that the Blues retain that interest now.

It’s suggested that even with the arrivals of Jamie Gittens and Joao Pedro, Chelsea are still looking to sign Garnacho.

Brentford trigger Hutchinson release clause

Brentford have triggered the £35million release clause in Omari Hutchinson’s Ipswich contract.

The Mail report that the Bees want the former Arsenal and Chelsea youth star to replace Bryan Mbeumo, who remains a target for Manchester United despite two rejected bids.

Hutchinson’s release clause - in place after Ipswich’s relegation from the Chmpionship - is set to expire so Brenford have moved quickly.

Liverpool consider shock Rashford deal

Who could Liverpool turn if if that fail to sign Alexander Isak? Marcus Rashford, the Mail claims.

The Reds are dreaming on landing the Newcastle striker, who could cost £150million, but have drawn of a list of alternatives, which include Hugo Ekitike, Ollie Watkins, Victor Osimhen, Yoane Wissa, Rodrygo and Rashford.

Arne Slot's desire to bring in a new forward is bid, though surely a move for Rashford is deeply unlikely.

Rashford is expected to leave Manchester United this summer, with Barcelona reportedly his desired destination.

Joao Felix talks begin as Chelsea begin ruthless clearout

Joao Felix is in talks over a move to Benfica as Chelsea prepare to step up plans for a summer squad clearout.

The Blues intend to offload a number of players before the September 1 deadline and Standard Sport understands that a mixture of sales and loan exits are currently being planned.

Another player likely to leave Chelsea is Christopher Nkunku, who featured during the Blues’ successful Club World Cup campaign but is still expected to depart this summer. He was previously offered to Manchester United in a player swap for Alejandro Garnacho that did not go through.

Reasonable offers will be considered for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, but the former Leicester midfielder has not been transfer-listed. A decision may be taken to send academy graduate Tyrique George out on loan, though he could also yet stay with the first-team squad.

Djordje Petrovic underwent a medical at Bournemouth on Monday ahead of a £25m move.

Chelsea are also prioritising the sale of a number of high earners not in Enzo Maresca’s plans. The list includes Raheem Sterling, Ben Chilwell, Renato Veiga and Axel Disasi, as well as Carney Chukwuemeka, Lesley Ugochukwu and Armando Broja.

Arsenal look for sales after £130m triple deal done

Arsenal will soon accelerate their attempts to get players out the door.

Albert Sambi Lokonga spent last season on loan at Sevilla and is up for sale.

Fabio Vieira and Reiss Nelson, who also spent last season out on loan, can leave this summer if suitable offers arrive.

Nelson has previously been of interest to Crystal Palace, which could prove useful given Arsenal’s interest in Eberechi Eze.

Oleksandr Zinchenko is another player who could depart Emirates Stadium. He has just one year left on his contract and is not in talks over fresh terms.

Luis Diaz tells Liverpool he wants to leave after Bayern bid rejected

Liverpool have rejected Bayern Munich’s bid for Luis Diaz, worth €67.5m (£58.6m).

The German giants were earlier in the summer told in no uncertain terms that Diaz was not for sale, but have returned with a fresh offer report The Athletic.

Liverpool reportedly value Diaz at €100m (£86.8m) but have also told interested clubs that the player is not for sale.

However, Diaz has other ideas and is now keen to leave the club.

It remains to be seen if Liverpool could change their stance and sell Diaz to raise funds to sign Isak.

Newcastle respond to Liverpool's Isak approach

It was a quickfire reply from Newcastle to Liverpool.

The Telegraph’s Luke Edwards reports that Newcastle maintain their Isak is not for sale and the move by the Reds is viewed as “a deliberate ploy to try and unsettle the striker.”

However, the general consensus is that Liverpool would have been encouraged to make their interest public.

Has Isak’s head been turned? We shall see.

Man Utd handed transfer boost amid Mbeumo delays

Manchester United are set to receive another timely transfer windfall as they seek to wrap up a deal for Bryan Mbeumo.

The Red Devils have already bolstered their squad this summer with the arrival of Matheus Cunha, but are seeking further reinforcements across the forward line and Mbeumo is a primary target for head coach Ruben Amorim.

However, United have failed with two offers for the Cameroon international as Brentford stand firm on their asking price - a fee in excess of £63m.

That said, Standard Sport have reported that whilst the Bees and Mbeumo have grown frustrated by the slow progress of negotiations with Man Utd, a deal is still expected to be finalised.

As Man United prepare to return to the negotiation table for the 25-year-old, they can use Alvaro Carreras’ move to Real Madrid to potentially help fund a third bid to finally get a deal over the line.

According to the Mirror, United are set to bank around £7.2m due to inserting a 20 per cent sell-on clause when selling Carreras to Benfica last summer. The left-back has since moved to the Santiago Bernabeu for a fee believed to be in the region of £43m.

Saudis make Nunez approach

A host of Saudi Pro League sides have made moves for Darwin Nunez, Fabrizio Romano reports.

The Uruguayan had been the ‘dream’ target for Napoli, although it appears that the Italian side are now set to sign Lorenzo Lucca from Udinese instead.

Napoli were Nunez’s preferred destination, but with Antonio Conte’s side signing another striker, the SPL could well be his only choice.
