Tottenham Hotspur host Manchester City in the Premier League this evening.
Ange Postecoglou’s side are targeting a fourth consecutive Premier League win, following a mini-renaissance in North London. At the weekend, Spurs thrashed Ipswich 4-1 at Portman Road to continue their upturn in form.
Brennan Johnson scored twice on his return to the starting side, with further goals from Djed Spence and Dejan Kulusevski completing the rout.
Spurs next host Manchester City, another side who have endured a challenging domestic campaign. The champions lost 2-0 at home to Liverpool on Sunday, a result that leaves the Citizens 20 points off the pace at the top. Out of Europe and adrift in the Premier League, securing a top-four finish and FA Cup success are now the goals for Pep Guardiola’s side this season.
Ange Postecoglou has confirmed Spurs have no new issues following the win at Ipswich Town.
Ben Davies missed that clash and will again sit out tonight, while the game will come too soon for Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Dominic Solanke, Richarlison.
However, that quartet are all making good progress ahead of next week’s Europa League Round of 16 clash with AZ Alkmaar.
Tottenham predicted XI: Vicario; Porro, Danso, Gray, Spence; Bergvall, Bentancur, Maddison; Johnson, Tel, Son.
Spurs host Manchester City in the Premier League on Wednesday 26th February 2025. Kick-off in North London is 19:30 GMT.
Tottenham vs Manchester City will be televised on TNT Sports 3 and Discovery+ UK.
