Talking about Victor’s previous season numbers, the goalkeeper featured in 63 games and managed to keep 27 clean sheets. In the process, he leaked only 58 goals, which is considerably a decent mark.

The Brazilian is often termed as the best goalkeeper in his country by many. He is a tall figure, which means he reach is pretty solid. With strong hand, quick reflexes, and accurate passing skills, he stands out from the crowd for sure.

Is John Victor a good deal?

Tottenham Hotspur’s interest in John Victor is understandable as Guglielmo Vicario is sidelined due to an injury. In his absence, though Fraser Forster has been doing decently well, it won’t be a bad time to bring in another notable goalkeeper.

In that regard, John Victor could be a good choice as he is well experienced and has crazy abilities. He has all the traits needed to succeed in the Premier League. He can surely provide many useful performances in the years to come.

It will also be a financially viable deal for Tottenham Hotspur as Botafogo is willing to let the shot-stopper go for just around €9-10million. If one considers the amount, it’s a bargain deal as the player is good enough to be a second-fiddle keeper in the squad.
