Give Me Sport reports that Tottenham are competing with Manchester City for the signature of the Uzbeki defender Abdukodir Khusanov. Spurs aren’t confident of securing the signature of the defender given that RC Lens demand £20 million for selling him.

Spurs want to reinforce their defensive line and hence want to sign a quality defender. The club have been keeping tabs on Khusanov but feels that they might not be able to sign him as they think Manchester City will secure his signature.
