Toppmöller targets upset against Bayern: "We have the weapons to hurt them" | OneFootball

Eintracht Frankfurt face a tough test when they travel to Munich to take on Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga on Sunday.

Die Adler are unbeaten in the Bundesliga in 2025, and head coach Dino Toppmöller is determined to keep it that way, even if it will be difficult.

The aim, Toppmöller said after Sunday's 3-1 win over Holstein Kiel, is naturally to "take something from the game to extend this run".

"We know we need a top performance against Bayern. But we showed in the first half of the season that we have the weapons to hurt them," said Toppmöller, referring to Eintracht's 3-3 draw with the Bavarians in October.

Bayern last battled hard defensively to hold Bayer Leverkusen to a 0-0 draw, but Toppmöller expects Sunday's game to be very different.

“We know that Bayern's performance on Saturday is not necessarily what we can expect on Sunday,” said the former FC Bayern assistant coach.
