Tom Dele-Bashiru targeted by Polish club

According to Sky Sport Italia, a Polish club has made an offer to Watford for Tom Dele-Bashiru, the Nigerian midfielder who came up through the Manchester City academy.

Polish champions for the 2023/24 season and set to compete in the Ekstraklasa, Polish Cup, and UEFA Europa Conference League this year, Jagiellonia Białystok are looking to bolster their midfield. With ten signings already secured, the club's management is seeking to add even more depth to the Polish side's roster.

The 24-year-old Nigerian, who plays as a box-to-box midfielder with a defensive mindset, has made 81 appearances for Watford (8 goals, 4 assists). A product of Manchester City's academy, he even made his debut under Pep Guardiola in a League Cup quarterfinal back in 2017.
