Thomas Frank has refused to comment on Eberechi Eze's future after Tottenham opened talks to sign the Crystal Palace midfielder.

Tottenham opened talks with Crystal Palace over a deal for Eze on Tuesday, with Frank keen to bolster his attacking ranks following injuries to James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski.

Frank, speaking to the media in Italy, wouldn't comment on the 27-year-old's future as his side prepares for the Uefa Super Cup final against PSG.

"I think there are a lot of good players out there, including a lot in the PSG team, but we can't have all of them. Players in or out, I'm only going to speak about my players," Frank said.

Maddison is set to miss the majority of next season with an ACL injury suffered during Tottenham's pre-season friendly against Newcastle in South Korea.

Kulusevski, meanwhile, remains sidelined after undergoing knee surgery in May, with Frank confirming he will miss the opening game of the season.

Tottenham have already brought in Mohammed Kudus for £55million, but after missing out on Nottingham Forest's Morgan Gibbs-White, they remain in the market for an attacking midfielder.

Eze has a £68m release clause which expires on Friday, and Tottenham are set to go head-to-head with north London rivals Arsenal for his signature.

Tottenham have also held talks with Manchester City over a deal for Savinho. The Brazilian has emerged as a target following the departure of captain Heung-min Son to LAFC.

A potential move for Eze would not impact Tottenham's interest in Savinho, with the club exploring the possibility of signing both players.
