Thiago Silva jumps on social media to react after Chelsea draw 2-2 with Bournemouth | OneFootball

Chelsea cult hero Thiago Silva has jumped onto social media to post a reaction after Chelsea only managed a 2-2 draw at home to Bournemouth.

Silva is very much still a Chelsea fan following along every single game of The Blues since he left the club in the summer.

And for me, his presence at the back is truly missed. An experienced leader who was vocal, calm, and just a world class defender, is truly missed by Chelsea as they continue to be linked with wanting to sign new defenders this month.

But the time was probably right for Silva to go so he could go off back to his home land and end his playing career in Brazil. And we all know that one day he will be back at Chelsea in some capacity, hopefully as a coach one day soon.

You can tell though that he is still full of passion for the club and is living every moment just like all of us fans do.

He would have been frustrated with the result last night, but celebrating Reece James’ incredible free kick to salvage a point late on for The Blues.

As you can see above, Silva jumped on James’ post on Instagram to post a reaction to the current Blues captain.

He simply responded:

“I love you captain!”

Well isn’t that just beautiful stuff? You love to see it.

James did enough to save any Chelsea blushes and stop a defeat happening at Stamford Bridge last night after a poor second half performance from The Blues. But really, they should have had the game dead and buried within the first 45 minutes with a host of clear chances to score many more goals.
