La Liga president Javier Tebas has this weekend moved to make crystal clear his problems with those in a position of power at Spanish champions Real Madrid.

This comes amid the ongoing controversy surrounding the officiating in Los Blancos’ fixtures.

Recent weeks have seen Real left fuming with La Liga’s referees and officiating teams as a whole, pointing towards a series of decisions to have gone against Carlo Ancelotti’s side.

The latest came last weekend, when a string of rejected penalty appeals were compounded by Jude Bellingham being shown a straight red card for a verbal exchange with referee José Munuera.

All from fans to coaches, the board at the Santiago Bernabéu and Real Madrid TV have in turn made known their grievances with Spanish football and its current state.

And as alluded to above, on Sunday, as much has culminated in Los Merengues themselves being targeted in ruthless fashion.

Drawn on the recent chatter surrounding the officiating of Real Madrid’s fixtures during an interview with The Objective (as cited by Diario AS), La Liga president Javier Tebas made use of the opportunity to slam the reigning Spanish champions:

“We have had a lot of controversy over refereeing in recent weeks. From Real Madrid TV, Real Madrid creates controversy and writes a false story, calling into question all of football. It is a verbally aggressive and manipulated story. I know many Real Madrid fans who do not agree with Real Madrid, which is a whiny club, it cries all day long. They cry for the weekend, they will cry for the following weekend and it is all the fault of a conspiracy.”
