The final Premier League games of 2024 gave us plenty to talk about at both ends of the table, with things left finely poised ahead of the new year.
Here are our five favourite statistics from gameweek 19.
Manchester United's wretched run has some speculating they could be relegated come May. It would rival Leicester's title win for the greatest shock in Premier League history.
Surely not?
Bear in mind Liverpool and Mohamed Salah have played 18 games, and this stat is even more wildly impressive. Will 2025 see the Egyptian king lead the Reds to the title before riding off into the sunset?
Spurs have had a hugely disappointing 2024, with their poor form in the second half of last season carrying over.
Granted they have defensive injuries right now, but their bad habits just aren't conducive to any type of success.
Nearly 16 years on from his dad sticking one past Chelsea, Liam Delap opened the scoring in Ipswich's stunning 2-0 win over the Blues at Portman Road that breathes new life into their survival bid.
Nottingham Forest started 2024 battling relegation, but amazingly end it in second place behind Liverpool after putting together a run not seen in near-three decades.
A top four finish should be a realistic aim for the new year. Take a bow, one and all.
