Luana Bühler is back in the frame for Wednesday’s night Women’s League Cup group stage match against Charlton Athletic at The Valley (7.15pm KO).
The defender was unavailable for Sunday’s trip to Aston Villa after missing a late fitness test at the weekend, but Robert Vilahamn confirmed that she is back in contention and could be involved in the matchday squad.
Unfortunately, Ella Morris, who was among the substitutes at Villa Park at the weekend, has suffered a small setback in her recovery and will not feature in our Women’s League Cup tie.
“Luana is back in the squad which is good news,” Robert told the media in pre-match press conference on Tuesday afternoon.
“Ella has a small setback from her previous injury so she will rest for tomorrow. But, otherwise, everyone else that has been involved still remains available.”
Kit Graham, Amy James-Turner and Shuang Wang all remain sidelined for the fixture.
